The integrative approach refers to a holistic integration of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) with science. It seeks to generate relevant, profound, and contextual knowledge and practices, allowing religious sciences to address contemporary issues while enriching general sciences with Islamic perspectives.

Learning Innovation
Following the integrative approach, learning innovation emphasizes the design and application of novel, creative, and effective methods, models, and media in Islamic Religious Education. This vision aims to elevate the quality of teaching and learning, making education more engaging, relevant, and adaptable to today’s learners.

Digital Literacy
In alignment with learning innovation, digital literacy is a crucial skill that involves the ethical, responsible use, comprehension, evaluation, and creation of digital content. In Islamic Religious Education, it is vital to leverage technology in research, curriculum development, and effective dissemination of Islamic teachings through digital media.

Undergirding all these pillars are progressive Islamic values. These emphasize a rational, open-minded, and reform-oriented (tajdid) practice focused on public welfare.
